Welcome to my web page! This page provides an introduction to me and my research.

My research specialty has been entomology, especially the taxonomy of Chalcidoidea - a group of very tiny wasps.

During my undergraduate studties, I worked on a taxonomic study of the genus Gastrancistrus (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Pirenidae), which parasitize gall midges.

Currently, I am pursuing different research themes at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST).

Research topics

My main research fields were the taxonomy of insects, especially Chalcidoidea.

I researched Chalcidoidea, which parasitize other insects or induce insect galls.

I also had research experiences of the applied research: research of the biological control against a pest in the livestock industry.
